  1. Perfect and well reasoned Article .

  2. Dear Mark,

I find your blog to be a wonderful endeavor in the field of education. I am impressed with the very fact that you have such a blog going. I am told that The Shri Ram School is an extremely reputed school and if this is the level of transparency and engagement you seek with people, it is indeed commendable.

I have had a look at the TSRS website and also read reviews from parents. What you are trying to do at TSRS is praiseworthy.

In my experience (however limited), the only other place where I have witnessed this first hand is at The Rishi Valley (Krishnamurti Foundation India), where I spent the better part of my formative years. The role played by a school is to ‘ignite minds,’ and nudge here and there, besides providing a conducive environment where learning is fun.

We moved from Kolkata to Mumbai 2 years ago and now a move to Gurgaon is imminent. I would like to apply to your school (Aravali) for my twins into Class 3. We are coming to Gurgaon for a recce around second week of July. We are interested in having a look at the school along with the children. Is it possible to meet with you and/or some of the teachers as well? Are there any other formalities we need to fulfill prior to this?

    Kindly let us know.

    Thank you for your time.

    Best wishes
    Sweta Saraf
